Climate
Expact a moderate climate in November with sunny days as well as occasional rain showers and temperature up to 15°C.

Currency
The official German currency is Euro. Exchange in foreign currency is available at the airport, train station, at most hotels, banks and exchange offices.

Language
The official language of the congress is English.

Personal Insurance
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Program Changes
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external unforeseen circumstances.

Public Transportation
Hamburg is offering an excellent and safe network of public transportation, either by subway, suburban rail, busses and ferries.

Safety
As in all major cities and congress venues, people should take care of their personal belongings. It is not advised to wear your congress badge outside the congress activities.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed at the venue; the meeting is a non-smoking event. 

Visa
Germany is part of the European Schengen area. The entry formalities for Germany vary accordingly to the country of origin. A letter of invitation can be issued by the congress and registration office.
